Flagz – Location Based Social Network app for iPhone and iPad

Flagz brings your locations to life.

Wherever you are, liven-up your GPS location with content created by users in that area and interact with new and interesting people.

Flagz integrates online maps, user-generated content and social networking into a completely new user-experience that places you smack dab into the middle of everything that’s happening around you.

The app opens to a map view of your current location and displays all of the flags created by users in that area. Each flag is a post of multi-media content created by a user using a smartphone. Just tap a flag on the map to view its contents.

It’s easy to create flags. You can write text and hashtags and use a built-in camera, video camera, audio recorder, and drawing program. Flags are automatically planted at your GPS location and are shared either publicly on a communal map or privately with your friends, groups, or even with a single person.

You can also search hashtags to create filtered map views of specific content and then pinch the screen to see flags of that specific content all over the world.

Invite friends, bookmark profiles, comment on flags, direct message other users, search for content, and navigate the world. Flagz is about turning personal experiences into shared ones.
